Almonds, known as the king of nuts, are a highly nutritious food. They are available raw or roasted, with or without the skin, and are frequently smoked or sugared and sold as snacks. Not only they are an effective health-building food both for human body and mind, but also a valuable food remedy for several common ailments.

Anemia : Almonds containing copper which along with iron and vitamins acts as a catalyst in the synthesis of blood hemoglobin. Almonds are, therefore, a useful food remedy for anemia.

Cancer : Eating almonds may lower the risks of suffering such kinds of cancer as prostate, bladder, colon and rectum.

Smooth physiological function : Almonds plays a major role in maintaining the smooth physiological functions of brain, nerves, bones, heart and liver, thus preserving the vitality of the brain, strengthening the muscles and prolonging life.
