Why We Need To Go Organic?

• Organic food is more nutritious. It contains on average 50% more vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other micro-nutrients than conventional grown products.

• Organic products are safe food. It contains less poisonous chemicals than conventionally farmed fruits or vegetables. For example, a conventionally grown apple contains 20-30 poisonous material on its skin which remains even after washing. Long-term exposure to such foods poses a considerable health risk. Those foods usually contain carcinogens or cancer causing agents.

• Replacing non-organic food with organic food can reduce your chance of getting meat or dairy product related disease. This is because many of farm animals are fed with genetically modified food; as well as anti-biotics, hormones, anti-parasite drugs and many other medicines on a daily basis, regardless of whether they are ill or not. These drugs are passed directly onto the consumers of their dairy product or meat. Insecticides and pesticides can cause numerous health problems to our brain, nervous system, reproductive system, respiratory system and immune system. Also hormone disruptors linked to increased rates of testicular cancer and breast cancer, as they interfere with the normal hormonal operations of the body.
